About Me
Therapy, to me, is more than just talking—it’s an experience of connection, presence, and deep exploration. My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by years of commitment to relational practices like T-group, where I witnessed the power of human presence in healing. Being in spaces where people showed up with emotional honesty and care taught me that healing doesn’t happen in isolation; it happens in relationship, in the space between people. I carry this understanding into my work, creating an environment where clients feel seen, supported, and gently challenged toward growth.
My experience in support groups has strengthened my ability to trust what I see in a client and take bolder, yet attuned, steps toward their healing. While I am naturally warm, kind, and collaborative, I also believe in the value of positive challenge—helping clients take meaningful risks, step into their truth, and create real change in their lives. I balance this with sensitivity, knowing that timing and attunement are key to deep work.
Healing, in my view, takes infinite forms. It might look like feeling safe enough to express grief, finding ease in a difficult relationship, or learning to validate your own experience rather than dismiss it. It can be as simple as taking a deep breath, reaching out for support, or seeing yourself as worthy of love. I believe in working collaboratively, helping clients access their emotions, uncover their strength, and build the kind of relationships—both with themselves and others—that bring them fulfillment.
Clients have described me as attuned, fun, warm, and deeply present. They appreciate that I can hold both depth and lightness, allowing space for laughter alongside the harder emotional work. Whether working with individuals or couples, I focus on uncovering what is most needed—whether that’s slowing down, clarifying emotions, or learning how to communicate in a way that truly lands.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you where you are, support you fully, and challenge you when needed, I’d love to work with you.
